Adorkaville Disaster

Salutations all. I have plenty of excuses as to why I have not posted in nearly a year but it will only be as stated…excuses. So I will not touch on that and stick to the purpose of this blog…to honor Princess Kofi and those who continue to follow her and her teachings.

Not only have I not posted, I also have not checked on her followers at the MAUC in Florida. I reached out to them not too long ago to see how everything was going with Adorkaville and their endeavors but to my surprise they advised that all the buildings on the property aside from one home were destroyed in March! I couldn’t believe it.  They posted it on their website that it happened: http://www.maucinc.org/news-and-updates . How could this happen?! Why did this happen!? Why did no city or state official stop this?!
They informed me that their fight with the city of Jacksonville never ended. The Municipal Code Enforcement came out and began destruction on the buildings simultaneously so that it could not be stopped. How evil.  Why is there only one building left? They advised that this home belongs to the church and that they have been battling to save it as well. It sounds like there is a lot of turmoil around this home and the person dwelling in it.

I asked them, like so many of you are probably wondering, if they had tried to secure legal representation to prevent this. They did, but no one would take the case without control. Why is that people think they can have all power when their purpose is to ASSIST? I’m all too familiar with this in my personal life. It’s sickening. They’ve applied 3 times to have the community recognized as an historic landmark as well as promote tourism for an international heritage trail with the city, but to no avail each time.  They are doing amazingly well and know it will all work together for the good. I admire their optimism. But I can’t help but wonder what more could I have done? What more could WE have done as a world. Why is that people read about situations like this but refuse to do anything? Why is it that Jacksonville seems to assist on destroying this community rather than embrace it?  Out of all my research, there seems to be no other place like it in the West or the world.

I asked them what they are doing now, but they only say that God has big plans and that they are working on some things. I love their quote “God has more power than the devil and all his evil forces put together!” They are some true Christians and I know their Jesus is proud to have such bold soldiers in His army.
I still feel terrible about this but I will continue to show my support. The people of this church are such warm and God fearing people. All they aim to do is honor an African Princess who came to the West with divine plan from God and continue the work of the founder of the community, Rev. Dr. Nyombolo.  We all (who care) should show our support. I will be praying for them and doing what I can. I just don’t understand why so many notable authors/historians such as Richard Newman and Barbara Bair, Universities, and Theses have been written about the Princess and the community but Jacksonville doesn’t seem to care. Very puzzling.

I leave now with questions for everyone. Why do you think this happened?

Until next time.

Long time, no post....haha. Life has been in full effect on my end but nonetheless, I am still here. Enough about me as this is not the intent of this blog (I may create a personal one in the future. Who knows...). Although I have been on a somewhat hiatus, I have always kept the honorable Princess Kofi, her program and her faithful children -as they like to call themselves- close to my heart and thoughts.

I reached out to her real children not too long ago and I am happy to post that they are doing quite well. The sanctuary and land are still intact and they have even launched a website! Check it out www.maucinc.org . It's quite remarkable that they are getting their story out even more and receiving the awareness and exposure they well deserve. They say they are still fighting but believe the enemy has weakened and that victory is well on its way. I love how faithful they are and how it has gotten them this far! I am truly happy for them and will continue to spectate, support and document  (with their permission of course) as much as I can. This time more often... life will just have to understand.

I've also been told that more things are in store for the church (The Missionary African Universal Church) and Adorkaville and to "keep watching God." This should be their slogan... As soon as I hear more details, I will post and share. How exciting!

Rembering the Slaves and the Princess...

Historical information at Adorkaville
It has been a little over a year since I last published on this blog. What better time to post than during Black History month and the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation!

Although it has been quite a while, my fascination and admiration of Princess Kofi and the community founded in her honor still flourish.  I still maintain contact with the Church’s members and am happy to state that the Sanctuary and the two remaining buildings that were threatened to be demolished last year are still standing! This community’s history and its members’ faith and diligence have really allowed me to witness the true power of God and how diminutive man’s threats are compared to His power.  Although the buildings still stand the battle continues. I have been told and have seen for myself that the city still considers the buildings condemned and threaten to demolish them. The members have informed me that they are still diligently trying to raise funds to repair the buildings but they know that God will bless their efforts and restore the buildings made in the Princess’  honor who dedicated her works to Him. I will do what I can to help them.

Meanwhile, I will also like to take the time and acknowledge the 150th anniversary of the abolishment of slavery in the United States of America.  It was on January 1, 1863 when President Abraham Lincoln formally declared all slaves "forever free". This monumental occurrence should never be forgotten. For centuries, Africans had to endure suffering in a country unknown to their own. Many cried out to God and longed to return home and be free. These Africans were the physical forces that helped build the United States we see today and should forever and always be remembered and given honor.  This also all ties into the works of Princess Kofi as she was sent by the Father of Jesus who remembered the cries of the slaves and to tell their descendants that it is time for them to return home.  It is absolutely AMAZING to me that more African Americans  are not recognizing the Princess during this monumental time…yet we honor main stream  blacks for their efforts in gaining rights in America.  What about the slaves who wanted to return home? Have we forgotten about them? Is that just the past? Why are so many African Americans quick to look down at the continent in which they originate? Why do so many African Americans disassociate themselves from Africa and do not want to be considered African but just Black Americans? These are the questions not only African Americans, but Blacks all over the world should ask themselves in regards to their roots. Why is Princess Kofi not readily recognized as she should? Is it because her message is too controversial even though it is from the same God all Christians CLAIM to serve?  These are questions we must think about and answer.  I must admit that I never really thought about this myself before discovering Princess Kofi and Adorkaville, but as the song goes, I was blind..but now I see…….

SPECIAL NOTE  to our European Americans who fought with our beloved ancestors for their/our FREEDOM especially during the Civil War…and to our Scottish ancestor Dr. David Livingstone with his/our African body guards, Susi, Chuma, Amoda, Abram,  Mabruki, Jacob Wainwright and Majwara.   Also, Englishmen William Wilberforce and John Henry Newton and many others.....Thank you!

Church and Adorkaville Under Attack!

Although much time has passed since my last posting, activities against Adorkaville have yet to cease.  Now the City of Jacksonville wants to demolish the remainder historical buildings (including the church). They said they will proceed with demolition in 1 to 3 month, but from previous experiences, the city has been known to demolish buildings on site within weeks of their final announcements.  The members believe that the city would even proceed in demolition before the Christmas (they have in the pass done such things right before a holiday).
I have been investigating this community’s unique history and have found that they have many enemies and have had many oppositions to try and force them to sale their historical property. It is even sadder that the community’s home city (Jacksonville, FL) has and will NOT help this community or leave them be.  The city of Jacksonville will not even recognize Adokraville’s very unique history as the site was nearly declared an official historical landmark, but was stopped by a city council member.  I cannot think of any reason for someone to stop this but, sadly, coercion and corruption.
The only way it seems for this community to stop the constant abuse from oppositions and the city of Jacksonville (leans, citations, demolition, etc.), is to go global. The members are not going to let their community be savagely taken without a fight, thus they are taking legal and public actions.
If anyone can see the wrong in this and wants to help this community as they fight Goliath, please contact them at adorkaville@yahoo.com .  I too will join them in this battle.

THE REAL STORY: PRINCESS LAURA ADORKOR KOFEY AND ADORKAVILLE

When you type in the name “Laura Adorkor Kofi, Kofey or  Koffey ”  a lot of hits will come up.  Some getting the story right but most with wrong info. What is so amazing about Princess Kofey is that she came to the U.S. not as an immigrant, not in search for a better life, not for any economic or spiritual gain but she came as a free native African in NO need of money, but to tell her fellow stolen African brothers and sisters (later called her children) that they can come back home if they wish.  And on top of being not only black but an African, she was a woman!  Her teaching reached so many blacks in America that when she was tragically murdered, she had thousands of thousands attend her funeral. But despite her sudden death, her legacy and teachings of being faithful to God and working to come home or trade with Africa did not die. Later, South African native Rev. Dr. Eli Nyombolo (a.k.a Lil Brother) continued her works and established a community along with her Church (Missionary African Universal Church). The community was given the name Adorkaville and is located in Jacksonville Florida, which she named (before her death) headquarters of all MAUC churches. The Missionary African Universal Church of Jacksonville FL remains headquarters.
Despite Lil Brother’s efforts to keep all Missionary African Universal Churches united…shortly after his death, many territories split from the MAUC. But as stated before, MAUC of Jacksonville FL remained headquarters. Many members (now former members) left the MAUC and started their own church claiming to be of mother’s teachings but the MAUC of Jacksonville FL was and is the only church that TRULY follow Princess Kofey’s teachings.  Even though many of these members CHOSE to leave the MAUC and relinquished all of their rights, they are posing as being headquarters AND as the owners of Adorkaville. I know the TRUE ACTIVE members of the MAUC and Adorkaville and have been told that these specific former members have tried to not only break up the MAUC but to sell the property  Lil Brother worked so hard to create for follower’s of Christ and of Princess Kofey’s  teachings. To this day, the REAL members of the MAUC headquarters fight endlessly to keep the property from being sold, destroyed and taken.  These former members have in the past, torn down historical houses from the site, put up for sales signs without the knowledge of the members and home dwellers of the property and even tried to relinquish different members’ rights as members of the church. These former members later LEFT the MAUC and started their own Church called Tabernacle. Here is a link to this http://www.tabauniversalchurch.org/ .But since they left the MAUC (and left it in a mess..destroyed homes,  low membership due to their craziness, city violations..etc) why do they have the nerve to feel they should claim any rights and money on behalf of Adorkaville and the MAUC!? Does this make any sense??? It is believed and now is being slowly confirmed that these former members along with current, former and other government officials have been coercing efforts to force the members of MAUC to sale or give up Adorkaville. The MAUC members are constantly being cited from the city of buildings, grass cutting violations, none of which would have ever occurred had not these members tried SO hard to force all the members to leave and sale Adorkaville. It is sad how greed can cause people to turn into to evil, lying, conniving and selfish beings.
These former members not only started their OWN church but stole hymns, songs and writings from the MAUC. They have on their site the Creed that Lil Brother specifically wrote for the MAUC…not for imposters! Here is the link showing the creed with ever so slight changes http://ehub48.webhostinghub.com/~tabaun5/?page_id=108 . Sounds like copyright infringement?  MAUC members have been finding out that Tabernacle leaders Kubini Keyes and Robert Keyes have been suspected to be receiving grants on behalf of Adorkaville.  They have no rights and are not even owners of the property  and have NO rights to any monetary gains from Adorkaville while the TRUE ACTIVE members struggle on a daily basis to hold on to the community. How is this right? But they call themselves children of the Princess and followers of Christ….is this Christ like??
Please know that the MAUC/Adorkaville at NO TIME received money from any groups, organizations and/ or companies and if anyone did receive money on their behalf, it was under false pretense.
They (former members) have a write up on their site describing the events that lead to THEM being the new headquarters… which is false. If you go to their site (www.tabauniversalchurch.org) and under link “history”, click “know your church” which will lead to a Microsoft word Doc.  Here they describe their version of the history of the church.  But I have spoken to the original and still active members of the MAUC headquarters Jacksonville FL and they have the REAL story…...
This is not over, more so my investigation will come……
